The Potomac-Appalachian Transmission Highline (PATH) is a joint venture of
American Electric Power (AEP) and Allegheny Energy to build a new high-voltage interstate
transmission line.
This site provides information about the proposed transmission line, which is designed
to ensure reliability of the regional transmission system for years to come.
